My name is Orna and I am a graphic designer and an artist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I always remember myself sketching and drawing. As a child, all my notebooks were decorated and framed with designs in black and white or color. Every empty envelope or scrap of paper immediately filled up with sketches, and a visit to the art store was, and still is, better than one to the candy store.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, followed by post-doctorate research at UC Berkeley and Stanford University, where I conducted Bioinformatics research. After years of investigating human hormones, I decided to turn my passion and long time dream into a profession and studied Graphic Design. I studied Graphic and Interactive Design in Foothill College, and took classes with Dmitry Grudsky to improve my drawing skills, and am now a freelance graphic designer.
I design any printed material (magazines, ads, posters, brochures, postcards, flyers, business cards etc), logos, websites and more.
